About Crystal Clear Pool Services
We're more than a pool service company - we're a practical, owner-operated team built on quality, integrity, and straightforward customer care. With each project, we bring hands-on industry knowledge and a high standard of workmanship, whether we're carrying out a detailed valet visit, replacing a liner, building a new pool, or inspecting a pool before you purchase a home. Our goal is simple: deliver reliable, professional results so your pool (or water tank) stays an asset you can enjoy with confidence.
Why Choose Crystal Clear Pool Services
Choosing the right pool partner is about more than a good finish on day one - it's about long-term performance, safety, and ongoing support. Because we're owner-operated, your job gets meticulous attention and consistent standards, with clear communication from start to finish. We take a client-centric approach, meaning we listen first, explain your options in plain language, and recommend solutions that align with your space, budget, and how you actually want to use the pool.
We also understand that pool ownership comes with responsibilities around safety and compliance, including for above-ground and portable-style pools depending on depth and access. For local guidance, the Tauranga City Council swimming pool safety barriers information is a useful reference, and MBIE's guidance for pool owners can help you understand common requirements and good practice.

Pool Building & Maintenance FAQs
What's included in an initial quote or site visit?
We'll discuss how you want to use your pool (or tank), review access and the site layout, and check the condition of any existing equipment or surfaces. You'll then receive a clear scope of work with practical recommendations that make it easy to compare options and budget confidently.
How do I know whether my pool liner needs replacing?
Signs can include fading, brittleness, ongoing wrinkles, persistent staining, or unexplained water loss that's not caused by evaporation or backwashing. We can inspect the liner and surrounding components to confirm whether a repair is realistic or a full replacement is the smarter long-term option.
Can you help reduce the running costs of my pool?
Yes - many cost issues come down to inefficient filtration, incorrect pump run times, and unstable water chemistry. We can optimise settings, improve water balance consistency, and recommend upgrades only where they'll genuinely add value.
Do you service both saltwater and traditional chlorine pools?
We do, and the servicing approach is adjusted to suit your sanitising system, pool usage, and equipment setup. The key is consistent testing and proactive checks so your water stays comfortable while protecting surfaces and plant.
Can you build a pool where access is limited?
In many cases, yes, and this is where custom small-space pool builds and clever planning make a difference. We'll look at access, positioning, and practical construction considerations to design a solution that fits your property rather than forcing a one-size approach.
